McCann Health Nordic takes another step towards becoming the Nordic’s leading integrated marketing company for healthcare
After a year-long winning streak in pitches for global projects in the Nordic region, McCann Health Nordic is building on this impressive track record with the hire of two specialists.
Science Director Dr. Stephanie Brett and Content Strategist and Copywriter Zachary Gavry join the McCann Health team to complete a strategic recruitment drive that began a year ago to meet growing client needs for med comms and multichannel customer engagement – a strategy that is proving its success.
Managing Director Murat Zubcevic explains: “I came to McCann Health Nordic a year ago with a vision for creating the Nordic’s leading integrated marketing company for healthcare, and assembled a team made up of experts in strategy, creative, science, and customer engagement. Now, having successfully tested the fitness of this approach, we are ‘completing the circle’ with two more ambitious people: a scientist with a proven track record in med comms at a senior level and a content strategist with experience in public health and digital communication.”
The first new face is Scientific Director, Dr. Stephanie Brett, from the UK with agency experience stretching back 15 years. After completing a Ph.D. in molecular biology, she cut her agency teeth in London where she worked in client management for leading healthcare communications agency TBWA/Paling Walters. Since her move to Copenhagen five years ago, she transitioned into content and strategy at McCann and more recently at Ogilvy. She has worked with some of the region’s major healthcare giants. Stephanie will be providing McCann Health Nordic clients with certified medical writing and medical consultancy.
The second hire is Zachary Thomas Gavry, who joins the team as a content strategist and copywriter. Born in the US, he moved to Copenhagen six years ago to complete his master’s degree in Global Health at the University of Copenhagen. After graduating, he spent a year at the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe where he specialized in the public sector response to communicable diseases and then continued to nurture his career in digital health communication at Vertic as a content strategist.
“Our clients are navigating the complexities of digital transformation, science communication, and multichannel customer engagement, so we are proud to be able to welcome such strong new talents onto our team,” says Murat.
The new team is not only determined to maintain the current winning streak, but also to establish McCann Health Nordic as the go-to integrated marketing company for healthcare in the Nordic region.
