Macedonian marketing: The future

Irina Maja, Growth Director at McCann Skopje, was one of the panelist at the event that gathered the Macedonian marketing elite, creatives and influencers discussing the future and problems of the Macedonian advertising scene.

Through the discussion of the panelists and questions from the audience, several issues have been identified: importance of market researches, investments in relevant content for traditional, as well as better regulation of the digital media.

Although the main conclusion was that Macedonian advertising scene has a bright future, and Macedonian marketing agencies are ready for it, following and implementing newest trends, still the "brain drain" we are witnessing, especially in creative industries, was pointed out and agreed upon by the panelists.
